- Because Project 64 doesn't support DirectInput controllers, only Xinput ones, I have to use X360ce to convert the Switch Pro's inputs to Xinput. This is a configuration document that details the processes that are intrinsic within the Nintendo 64 emulator: Project 64. Third party controller, not original Nintendo 64 controller.

Trying to configure my joy cons in project 64 and it won't let me for some reason. It shows it's connected and I can move the mouse around with gyro controls but none of the inputs register when I'm in controller plugin. But connecting the N64 controller to a project has remained one of those seldom-seen of reading an N64 controller is simply the speeds involved; with only three pins on the controller port, the N64 Every time the N64 controller data needs to be read, the console sends out a 9-bit polling request. X with LLE video and audio. I’m trying to use an Xbox One controller with Project64 2.3.0.210 and the buttons aren’t registering when I go to controller configuration. The controller has worked fine with Zsnes. I tried using an older version of NRage Input (2.3 something I believe) to no avail.

Project 64 Won't Detect Controller Installer
Hey, sorry for creating an account just because I needed help. Anyway, I'd really appreciate if anyone could give shed some light.
I'm trying to use a PS2 controller USB adaptor ti play on Project64 ('TigerGame PS/PS2 Game Controller Adapter' as shown on Windows XP control panel, though on the device itself it's written 'Super Joy Box 5 Pro'), but it ain't working.
I use the same device/PS2 controller with every other emulator, so I don't think that would be the problem. I'm using Pj64 v1.6, and I've tried both the 'Jabo DirectInput7 1.6' and the 'N-Rage's DirectInput8 2.1.83' plugins. With the first one, whenever I click a key to assign, it automatically sets that key to Z- (if analog is on), or to S0 (analog off); with the latter, nothing will happen at all no matter which button I press.
A friend of mine has always had the same adaptor (his' is an earlier version, not the '5 Pro', but still...), and it always worked fine for him, so I guess it should be supported, right?
If anyone has any ideas I'll be glad to hear them!
